Subtitle files

The free subtitle utilities process files in your browser. Downloads are created on your device. Browser-local audio transcription and video captions keep the source recording on your device; speech-recognition resources are loaded and may be cached by your browser.

Files and editor changes remain in memory during your session. Closing or refreshing the page clears them.

Accounts, saved projects and purchases

Creating an account stores your name, email address, verification status and a protected password hash. Session cookies keep you signed in. Verification and recovery links are sent through the configured email service. Security and rate-limit records may include your IP address and browser information.

When you choose Save caption project, caption text, timings, styles, word-alignment data and source-file information are stored on AENural?s server. Your original video is not uploaded. You can delete saved projects from your account. Reopening requires the matching original video.

Free caption allowances use a signed first-party browser cookie and server-stored anonymous usage totals. Clearing cookies or changing browsers creates a new anonymous identity. Owner sessions and saved caption activity are linked to the private owner account. Hosted checkout handles card entry; AENural stores the package order and access status, not payment-card details. Payment and email providers have their own privacy terms. Deleting your account removes your AENural profile, projects and account-linked access; provider-held payment records are managed separately.

Preferences

AENural stores your light or dark theme preference in browser local storage when you change it. This preference does not contain subtitle text or filenames.

Website requests

Your browser requests page code and assets from the website host. The host may receive ordinary request information such as your IP address and browser details. Hosting logs and retention depend on the final hosting setup.

The current application does not include analytics, advertising scripts, or session replay. This describes the application code, not a guarantee about a future hosting provider.

Details pending before public launch

The site operator’s identity, privacy contact, and final hosting and log-retention details have not been supplied. Those details must be added before public launch. A complete legal policy and terms require review using the operator’s actual facts.
